White Willow Bark (Salix alba)
White Willow Bark is a time-honored botanical traditionally used to support comfort and mobility in horses. Naturally rich in salicin, it provides gentle, long-term support for inflammation associated with joints, muscles, and hooves.
Often considered a plant-based alternative to phenylbutazone (“bute”), white willow bark is valued for its supportive effects on older horses, hard-working athletes, and those experiencing chronic stiffness. Its action is gradual and best suited for ongoing wellness rather than immediate relief.
Benefits
Supports joint and muscle comfort
