TBF Horse Food
Real Food. Thoughtful Nutrition. Simple Feeding.
TBF Horse Food was developed to offer horse owners another option for providing additional calories and nutritional support while keeping forage at the foundation of the equine diet.
Rather than relying primarily on highly processed ingredients and by-products, TBF Horse Food combines quality, non-GMO grains with nutritional fortification to provide a concentrated, palatable feed for horses that need additional calories, energy, or nutritional support.
The formula was developed in partnership with a PhD in Equine Nutrition and is designed specifically with the needs of the active horse in mind.
What Makes TBF Horse Food Different?
TBF Horse Food is a soy-free, non-GMO pelleted feed made without common by-products such as beet pulp, wheat middlings, or soy hulls. Its fiber comes from oat and barley hulls along with other gut-friendly ingredients.
The pelleted format provides a convenient way to incorporate grains into the diet while supporting consistent feeding and portion control.
The formula also includes:
K.I.S.Trace® technology for targeted trace mineral fortification
Organic trace minerals, including zinc, copper, manganese, and cobalt
Natural vitamin E to help support horses when dietary vitamin E may be limited
Quality, non-GMO ingredients
A highly palatable formula designed for easy acceptance
K.I.S.Trace® Technology
One of the unique features of TBF Horse Food is that K.I.S.Trace® technology is built directly into the formula.
This means there is no need to separately top-dress a K.I.S.Trace® product when feeding TBF Horse Food as directed. By combining the feed and trace mineral fortification into one product, feeding can be simpler and more convenient while helping provide important micronutrients that may be limited in forage-based diets.
Designed for Active Horses
TBF Horse Food is intended for horses that need additional calories or energy beyond what their forage-based diet provides. It can be appropriate for horses involved in activities such as:
Trail riding
Showing
Endurance
Driving and equipment work
Other forms of regular work or increased activity
The recommended feeding rate is 1 pound per 500 pounds of body weight, making it a concentrated, low-volume option for adding calories and nutritional support.
